What is NARFBR?

ICMR – National Animal Resource Facility for Biomedical Research (NARFBR), Hyderabad an autonomous body under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India invites applications, in the prescribed format, from the eligible candidates for the following regular posts to be filled by Direct recruitment at ICMR – NARFBR, Hyderabad.

NARFBR Recruitment 2023 Overview

The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology and Research (NARFBR) is inviting applications for the Technical Assistant, Technician and Lab Attendant Recruitment 2023. This is a great opportunity for qualified candidates to work in a premier research environment. The vacancies are open to candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/DMLT/Diploma/10th/12th pass/ITI. Fees

The application fee for the NARFBR Recruitment 2023 is Rs. 300/- for general and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwD/PH/Ex Servicemen and women categories are exempted from payment of the application fee.

The application fee can be paid by a demand draft drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of “Director, NARFBR, payable at Hyderabad”. The demand draft should be submitted along with the application form.

NARFBR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Technical Assistant

Technician

• Educational qualification: 12th (Science) pass with 55% marks and Diploma in DMLT/Computer/Statistics.
• Age limit: Up to 28 years, with relaxation as per government rules.

Lab Attendant

• Educational qualification: 10th pass with 50% marks and one year experience or ITI (Lab Attendant).
• Age limit: Up to 25 years, with relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection procedure for the NARFBR Recruitment 2023 will consist of the following steps:

1. Preliminary Screening: The first step in the selection process is a preliminary screening of the applications. This screening will be based on the candidate’s educational qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.

Important Dates

The online examination will be held in two parts: a preliminary examination and a main examination. The preliminary examination will be a multiple-choice question (MCQ) test, while the main examination will be a descriptive test.
