Education Qualification:

Minimum Educational Qualification
Minimum Technical Qualification
Electrician
Passed 10th class or equivalent with Science and Mathematics subjects under 10+2 education system with at least 50% aggregate marks.
ITI pass in Electrician Trade
Mechanic (Diesel)
Passed 10th class or equivalent class with at least 50% aggregate marks under 10+2 education system.
ITI pass in Mechanic (Diesel) trade
Machinist
Passed 10th class or equivalent class with Science and Mathematics subjects under 10+2 education system with at least 50% aggregate marks.
ITI in Mechanical Trade
Fitter
Passed 10th class or equivalent with Science and Mathematics subjects under 10+2 education system with at least 50% aggregate marks.
ITI pass in Fitter Trade
Welder (Gas and Electric)
Passed 8th class
ITI pass in Welder Trade
Age limit:
The minimum age requirement is 15 years. For the Welder position, the maximum age is 22 years, and for all other positions, it’s 24 years. Age relaxation will be applied as per government rules.

PLW Railway Recruitment 2023 Pay Scale
In the first year of training, the monthly stipend is ₹7,000. In the second year, it increases to ₹7,700 per month. In the third year, the stipend is ₹8,050 per month.
